lol..almost forget my blog already. Seems i missed a lot of my homework. Let's get started to catch up!.
In Febrayary, it was very important to all the Chinese. Because it was Chineses New Year. Chinese New Year has the same meaning to Chinese as Chritmas to Americans. We also have a special day as Christmas Eve. For our traditional culuture, all the family members have to go home and have dinner together. After dinner we should sit together talk to each other or watch TV. Usually we passed the 12'oclock togther too.
In addtion, there are also few steps we have to follow for the New Year. On the first day of the New Year, the first sentence you tell others must be sentences as "Happy New Year!." or " I wish you good luck in the coming year." Children ususaly get a red pocket within money from adults. It isn't only means gift, it's a symbol of lucky. Adults usually bring their children to their grandparents' house to spend whole day. In tradional convention, we don't eat meat at the first day. And since the first day of the New Year, we usually go to people's house for visiting, bring gifts and wishes with us for one week.
For a very traditional story, the reason why we like to play firecrackers during the New Year is to defend a monster. In the story, it tells about that many years ago, the monster woke up and try to destroy the happiness from the people every New Year, because it means evil and selftish. For prevent its attack, people used firecreackers to scared it away from their houses. Therefore, this convention still been using today.
I didn't go to anywhere this New year, because all of my families are in China now, and i have been missed three years New Year celebration with them. I missed them a lot and i wish them have a good New Year.

Last week we talked about the siblings-brothers or sisters-in the class. I got a lot of thinking about it.
I'm the only child in my family. In many ways i didn't have any idea what my life will be if i have a brother or sister. People usually talk about that brother or sister always frightened. However, it seems very interested to me. I would really like to try to have a brother or a sister. If is younger than me, i must be take care of him(she) very well. I would give him(her) my best i can to protect her, and always try to be a bigggggggg brother! If is older than me, seriously, i don't want this to be happened :P, because i already passed the period that wants feel safe and under protection lol. Sometimes i really sit there and just think about how is brotherhood works. I really want to know about how to live with someone who was born from the same place as i did. If we have the same blood will we still can make friends? Or what kind of relationship should we have? Anyway, this feelings really seem to attractive to me. :)
